We were made very welcome on arrival and we had a pleasant few days stay at Ammonite Lodge.
It was an ideal location for our short break and we would consider staying again when in the area.

Incredibly hospitable and accommodating owners, delicious breakfast, lovely atmosphere in the house (old, with bags of character and a pretty garden), clean and warm and ideally situated for the town and surrounding countryside. Excellent value for money. Would have happily stayed longer,

Lone Traveller
Right from the start the owner greeted me as I tried to park in their car park, which my car would have been to wide to drive between buildings. A friendly greeting, help with finding somewhere to eat. The room was homely and very clean. The breakfast was beautifully cooked and presented and nothing seemed too much trouble. Recommend, and I would stay there again. Excellent value for money.

Ammonite Lodge, Chard
It was a real pleasure staying here, nothing was too much trouble for Jeremy and Caroline. They also made the effort to provide for my special diet which doesn`t happen at too many places. Highly recommended.
